Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency – Severe Weather Emergency Recovery Order (SWERO)

Clauses 5-20 of the Severe Weather Emergency Recovery (Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency) Order 2023 (SWERO) modify the RMA 1991 including by the provision of Controlled Activity consenting pathways for specific State Highway recovery work including 9 sites in the Waikato region.

Persons specified by SWERO criteria will receive a letter from Waikato Regional Council advising that they can make comment on one or more specific applications lodged with Waikato Regional Council.
