Bus services in the Waikato

Waikato Regional Council is responsible for contracting and providing bus services in Hamilton city and for some of the region's communities. Information on these services is available on the BUSIT website(external link).

Total Mobility

Total Mobility is a door to door national transport scheme involving disability support agencies, taxi companies and local government. The scheme is designed to increase the mobility of people with disabilities, to allow equitable access to the community.

Regional Public Transport Plan 2018-2028

The Waikato Regional Public Transport Plan (RPTP) 2018-2028 sets out the priorities and needs of public transport services and infrastructure to be delivered in the Waikato in the next 10 years, and was prepared in partnership with territorial authorities and key stakeholders from a wide range of sectors.
