Abstract

The purpose of this report is to assess the state of river water quality in the Waikato region on 7 September 2017.

This assessment is carried out under the National Objective Framework (NOF) and is for relevant attributes for compulsory values under the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management (NPS-FM) 2020. The river state is based on Waikato Regional Council’s river monitoring sites with at least five years of data within a period that ends no earlier than 7 September 2017.
