TR 2016/23
Report: TR 2016/23
Authors: Alicia Catlin, Kevin Collier, Michael Pingram and Mark Hamer
About this report
This report is a comprehensive write up of the standardised monitoring protocol for native freshwater mussels developed by Waikato Regional Council for using in State of the Environment monitoring/reporting. It presents the development phase and results from recent years sampling. This protocol will formalise the methodology and make it readily accessible for other organisations wishing to undertake the methodology in streams. The protocol was developed with assistance of staff and students from the University of Waikato.
