About this report
This report reviews and summarises the current scientific literature on the subject of remote sensing methods used for the identification of wetlands, and, proposes new methods for identification of wetlands, based on state-of-the-art methods.
The literature review suggests that image segmentation and classification of more recent high quality data sources would lead to significant increases in wetland classification accuracy.
