We are working hard to reply to these enquiries while at the same time planning and undertaking work to remove debris dams and blockages, and remediate impacted areas.

TR 2012/12

Report: TR2012/12

Author: Murray Mulholland

About the document

This report presents a review of service levels for the Waihou Valley Scheme main floodway stopbanks, stoplogs and spillways. As assessed in this review, the current performance of the Waihou Valley Scheme main floodway stopbanks is marginal in terms of the Zone Management Plan performance target (i.e. no more than 2% of stopbanks are below design flood level). Approximately 2% by length (2.5 km) is within performance category 5 indicating that remedial work is required within the next 3 years.
