The doors to our Whitianga and Paeroa offices will be closed for the summer break from 4pm on Friday, 20 December, while our Taupō and Hamilton offices will close for the summer break at 1pm on Tuesday, 24 December. All offices will reopen on Monday, 6 January 2025. DATA CATALOGUE IS UNAVAILABLE

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Data Catalogue is currently unavailable. This should be fixed in the second week of January, if not before. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The Waikato Regional Council Data Catalogue holds metadata (data about data) in an ANZLIC compliant format, for spatial datasets and non-spatial data owned or jointly owned by Waikato Regional Council. ANZLIC is the government body in Australia and New Zealand responsible for spatial information

The Data Catalogue will give you the ability to:

  • search for and view metadata for spatial datasets and non-spatial data owned and jointly owned by Waikato Regional Council
  • download data where available
  • request data via the ‘Data Request’ form
  • download metadata in XML format.
