Waikato People's Panel - Prize draw terms and conditions
People's Panel prize draw
As a member of the Waikato People’s Panel, every time you complete a survey, you’ll go in the draw to win a $100 e-gift voucher.
By registering for the Waikato People’s Panel, participants are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following general Terms and Conditions.
Participation, selection and prizes
All decisions made by the Waikato Regional Council (“WRC”) will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prizes are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferable to any other person, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
In the event a winner chooses not to accept the prize, they forfeit any claims to the prize, which can then be awarded to another entrant.
A winner will be randomly selected from all responses received concerning each panel topic.
There will be one prize per panel topic. WRC reserves the right to randomly select a winner for each panel topic any time after the panel topic has been closed.
Winners will be contacted by applicable social media. If we are unable to contact the winner and retrieve additional contact details after trying several times over a 7-day period, WRC may pick another winner. WRC will be under no obligation to notify any previous selected winners that WRC have selected another winner. If WRC picks another winner the original winner will have no claim to receive the prize.
Winners will be notified in advance if prizes are sent by courier. Couriers are instructed to have all prizes signed for on receipt. Failure to obtain a signature will result in the prize being returned to WRC and another winner may be drawn/selected.
WRC reserve the right to refuse any prize to a person who is reasonably considered to have breached any of the prize draw terms or gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or obtained a winner status using fraudulent means.
