What can I do now

The proposed rules may change during the submission process, but there are things you can do to prepare. So, what can you do now?

  • Retain records that support your farming practice
  • Start familiarising yourself with good management practices. Check out the For Farmers section for information about various topics 
  • Look at your farm for areas of possible contamination. You can find ways to reduce contaminant losses by visiting Farm Menus
  • Talk with your industry bodies or a farm consultant.
