Environment Waikato holds meeting in Taupo

Environment Waikato is holding its monthly council meeting in Taupo this Thursday, August 31.

The meeting will take place at 9am in the conference room at Chantilly’s Motor Lodge, 112 Tamamutu St, Taupo.

Councillors will hear reports from the regulatory, Auckland/Waikato inter-regional, environment, policy and strategy, catchment services and finance and audit committees.

There will also be a report from the Waikato Regional Triennial Agreement Forum.

Other topics up for discussion include a representation arrangements review and a change to the Navigation Safety Bylaw 2006.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the council meeting.

Environment Waikato’s meetings are normally held in Hamilton.
