Beach clean-up volunteer information
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the potential clean-up of oil from beaches and estuaries along the eastern seaboard of the Coromandel Peninsula. Please check the following and if this is you, then complete and submit your details.
- We need strong, fit and healthy people (over the age of 16 years old)
- You need to be able to complete a four-hour beach clean-up shift (unfortunately we do not have enough equipment to be able to split the shift to any less than four hours).
- You need to have your own rubber boots (all other protective clothing and equipment will be supplied).
- You need to be able to deal with smelly messy oil.
